Horn Bet

In the context of craps, a horn bet is a wager split equally between the numbers 2, 3, 11, and 12. For example, if you were to make a horn bet of $100 (a black chip), then $25 (a green chip) would be placed on each of the numbers.

Craps players sometimes choose to hedge their horn bets with any seven (big red) bets. This combination wager is called a world bet (or whirl bet).

Horn Bet True Odds & Payouts

The true odds of winning a horn bet are 5:1.

When it comes to payouts, in most cases the house will pay according to the following payout odds:

Horn Bet House Edge

The house edge on a non-doubled horn bet is 12.5%, which makes it one of the worst bets you can place on the craps table (aka a sucker bet). In comparison, a bet on the pass line carries a 1.41% casino advantage, whereas a bet on the don’t pass line has a house edge of just 1.36%.
