In craps, the term «box numbers» is used to refer to the numbers between 4 and 10, with the exception of 7. Written out, the full list of craps box numbers looks like this: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10
When a player bets on a box number, the following three things may happen:
- the bettor wins if the box number appears
- the casino wins if a 7 appears
- nothing happens if any other number appears
